Gallie Day 2025
Dear Colleagues,
It was great to see many of you at Gallie Day 2025 on Friday. We had great attendance from our Orthopaedic Division, with many trainees presenting high quality research in the e-poster competition. Thank you so much for your support of our medical students, resident and fellows in their academic pursuits.
We also had a stellar showing at the Award Dinner, with 3 members of our Division recognized for their incredible achievements:
Sarah Ward (SMH) was co-winner of the Surgical Foundations Teaching Award for her lectures on Quality Improvement
Kim Tsoi (MSH) was selected for the Langer Surgeon Scientist Award, awarded to at outstanding graduate of the Surgeon Scientist Training Program who shows the greatest promise for a career in academic surgery
Jay Wunder (MSH) was honoured with the Lister Prize, the most prestigious research award in the Department, celebrating an investigator who has shown outstanding and continuing productivity of international stature
Every year I’m amazed at the accomplishments of this incredible Division and I’m so proud to see them honoured by the Department. Congratulations to all!
