Biography

Dr. Sheth completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Toronto. During his training he completed a MSc in Clinical Epidemiology from the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME) through the prestigious Surgeon-Scientist Training Program. Following his residency, Dr. Sheth completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at Northwestern University, in Chicago, IL, where he served as an Assistant Team Physician for the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Cubs and Northwestern Wildcats football team. He then returned to Toronto to complete a second fellowship in Upper Extremity and Trauma at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.

Areas of Specialty and Research Interests

Dr. Sheth’s clinical practice focuses on upper extremity reconstruction and trauma with a special interest in open and arthroscopic treatment of shoulder and elbow pathology including rotator cuff disease, instability, and osteoarthritis. His research interests include evaluating health outcomes following open and arthroscopic shoulder and elbow surgery.
