Dear Colleagues,
Please join me in congratulating Amit Atrey on his promotion to Associate Professor.

Amit was appointed to our faculty at St. Michael’s Hospital in 2017 and has been incredibly productive from a clinical, teaching and research perspective, focusing his efforts on clinical outcomes in arthroplasty and tribology. His most significant contribution is OrthoCAST, an online compendium of high-quality videos covering a broad spectrum of topics within the orthopaedic curriculum. This has been called by students the “Netflix of Orthopaedics”.

Promotion is the University’s highest recognition of academic achievement and signifies recognition at a national level. Amit has certainly achieved that and more in a short period of time on faculty. On behalf of the Division, best wishes and congratulations, Amit!
