Early Career Scientist Position – Translational Musculoskeletal Biology – Holland Bone & Joint Program Sunnybrook Research Institute, University of Toronto

The Holland Bone and Joint Program, Sunnybrook Research Institute (SRI) is seeking applications for a full-time scientist focused on translational musculoskeletal biology.

The position is suitable for an early career candidate with a demonstrable track record in academic research. The mandate of the position is to initiate discovery and translational research in musculoskeletal biology, with specific expertise in molecular/cellular biology, tissue engineering, personalized/regenerative medicine, osteoimmunology and/or animal models of disease.

Specific program interest areas include: fracture healing, bone biology, musculoskeletal trauma, immune modulation, skeletal metastases and joint preservation. The successful candidate will hold a scientist designation within the Biological Sciences Research Platform and Holland Bone and Joint Program of Sunnybrook Research Institute, and a faculty appointment in a cognate department at the University of Toronto.
