This award is given annually to a Community Based researcher. James’ project is entitled “A Dedicated Anesthesia Block Room Produces a Positive Return on Investment While Reducing Surgical Backlog When Implemented Using a Combination of Machine Learning, Discrete Event Simulation and Optimization Modelling”.​ James has recently been recruited to our faculty at Michael Garron Hospital. This is an enormous accomplishment in his first year of clinical practice.
