Resident-Selected University Rounds: Dr. Cody Wiles, “The Future of AI in Orthopedics”

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Cody Wyles, Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Clinical Anatomy at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota to our Resident-Selected University Wide Rounds on Friday June 27th, 2025 at Women’s College Hospital, 2nd floor Auditorium.
Dr. Wyles specializes in adult hip and knee reconstruction and directs the Orthopedic Surgery Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, leading a multidisciplinary team focused on the clinical translation of machine learning in musculoskeletal care, with active work in implant survivorship, imaging analysis, joint natural history modeling, and generative AI applications. His lecture on, “The Future of AI in Orthopedics: Real Impact, Realistic Expectations,” will explore the evolving role of artificial intelligence across the orthopedic continuum, emphasizing real-world applications and the importance of evidence-based adoption. We look forward to having him at our Rounds!
