  • To identify novel translational approaches that may improve survival in sarcoma

        • To briefly review how global disease burden is estimated and how these methods inform our understanding of health and surgical needs
        • To analyze national and international efforts to measure and improve access to surgical care
        • To consider how changing global health dynamics, and evolving patient and societal needs will shape future research and progress
