Dear Colleagues,
I am delighted to announce that Drs. Bheeshma Ravi and Amir Khoshbin will be assuming the roles of Vice-Chairs of Research in the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Bheeshma Ravi

Dr. Amir Khoshbin
Both Bheeshma and Amir had extensive backgrounds in clinical outcomes research dating back to their days in the SSTP and currently run their respective research programs at Sunnybrook and St. Michael’s that have secured impressive peer reviewed funding support. Both Bheesh and Amir are committed to ensuring our trainees continue to produce high quality research projects and aim to further facilitate multi-institutional collaborative efforts between our core teaching hospitals.
I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Dr. Albert Yee, who has worked tirelessly in this role for the past 11 years. Albert’s efforts have led to our current status as one of the most academically productive Divisions in North America.
Thank-you so much, Albert, and welcome to this exciting role, Bheesh and Amir!
