VR-Based Education Working Group

Given the emerging interest in VR or AR based education platforms, I would like to strike a small working group to establish a plan to incorporate this into our teaching curriculum.
Given the emerging interest in VR or AR based education platforms, I would like to strike a small working group to establish a plan to incorporate this into our teaching curriculum.
For example, we have partnered with PrecisionOS from Vancouver to utilize their Oculus-based technology for deliberate practice and potentially evaluation of various technical procedures. I think this is a logical extension of our competency based initiatives and especially given the upcoming uncertainty around clinical exposures for our residents in the COVID environment, an alternative VR based method to gain surgical experience would be vital.
Please let me know if you have any interest in participating in this working group and we will hold an initial meeting in the coming weeks.
