  1. In January of 2018, I was a patient of Dr. Zywiel’s in urgent need of a left hip replacement. It had become very difficult for me to move around in my classroom and school yard as I am a classroom teacher. Having surgery at Toronto Western Hospital was a life changer. I was astounded by how quickly my life returned to normal. The support from Dr. Zywiel, his team, and Toronto Western Hospital was outstanding. Within a few weeks, I was walking without any support and shortly after able to return to work. Thank you Dr. Zywiel.
