Areas of Specialty and Research Interests
Focus: Preclinical and translational research
My research interests includes bone related cancers and bone repair with focus on the development of innovative treatment options. One project focus on the development of burst-mode ultrafast fibre laser for orthopaedic surgery. I have extensive experience working with pre-clinical bone cancer models and studying the effect of photodynamic therapy on both cancer cells and bone. I also have an interest in comparative oncology to foster collaborations between veterinarians and physicians to accelerate knowledge of cancer biology and clinical care.
