Dr. Justin Chang is an orthopaedic surgeon at Humber River Hospital, specializing in adult hip and knee replacement and sports medicine. He has a special interest in robotic-assisted total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, complex knee revision, direct anterior total hip replacement, and knee arthroscopy & ligament reconstruction. Dr. Chang received his medical degree (MBBS) from St. George’s, University of London in the United Kingdom. He then completed residency training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Toronto and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).

Dr. Peter Ferguson is an orthopaedic oncologist and the Albert and Temmy Latner Professor and Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Toronto. He has won numerous teaching awards including the Robert Salter Award from the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, the Bruce Tovee Undergraduate and Postgraduate Awards from the Department of Surgery, the WT Aikins Award from the Faculty of Medicine, twice the Award for Excellence in Postgraduate Medical Education at the University of Toronto and the AMS Donald Richards Wilson Award by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He has authored over 170 publications in clinical outcomes of patients with sarcoma, surgical education and translational research in radiation effects on bone and soft tissue healing.

Dr. Joyce Fu received her Bachelor of Science from McGill University, and subsequently completed a Master of Science and Medical Degree in Washington DC, at Georgetown University. She became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in Orthopaedic Surgery following completion of her residency at the University of Toronto. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Adult Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at the University of Toronto. Her surgical practice focuses on adult foot and ankle reconstruction with a special interest in sports related foot and ankle injuries and limb preservation.

Dr. Hilary Felice is an Orthopaedic Trauma and Foot & Ankle Surgeon at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the University of Toronto.

Dr. Richard Gardner is a Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon and Assistant Professor at Sickkids Hospital and the Department of Surgery, University of Toronto. He has a special focus in lower extremity surgical management of children with neuromuscular conditions and hip surgery.

Dr. Jeremy Hall is a trauma and upper extremity orthopaedic surgeon and trauma team leader at St. Michael’s Hospital. He completed his Fellowship in Upper Extremity Reconstruction, Trauma and Ilizarov Reconstruction at St. Michael’s Hospital. Dr. Hall has clinical interests in upper extremity joint replacement and reconstruction, complex fracture care and post-traumatic fracture reconstruction. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto and is the current Residency Program Director in the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Jeremy Hall is the current President of the Ontario Orthopaedic Association, Ontario, Canada. He is the recipient of national and international awards for his numerous contributions as a Surgeon-Educator.

Dr. Tyler Hauer is a Toronto native and completed both his medical degree and orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Toronto. Following this, he pursued dual subspecialty fellowship training in sports medicine—first at the University of Toronto Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Program, and subsequently at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). These fellowships allowed him to obtain specialized training in advanced arthroscopic and reconstructive techniques for the treatment of complex knee, hip, and shoulder pathology. During his time at UPMC, he also served as a member of the medical staff for the Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL), Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL), University of Pittsburgh (NCAA), and Carnegie Mellon University (NCAA). Dr. Hauer’s clinical practice focuses on sports medicine, joint preservation, and minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the knee, hip, and shoulder.

Dr. Johnny Lau is an Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle specialist at Toronto Western Hospital and the University of Toronto. He sub specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports and arthroscopic foot and ankle surgery, foot and ankle arthritis surgery. He is the Medical Director of the Foot and Ankle Specialty Program at Altum Health.

Dr. Ujash Sheth received his medical degree from Queen’s University and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Toronto. Following completion of his residency training he pursued a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at Northwestern University, in Chicago. He then returned to Toronto to complete a second fellowship in Upper Extremity Reconstruction and Orthopaedic Trauma at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Sheth is a member of the University of Toronto’s Division of Orthopaedic Surgery as an Assistant Professor and Surgeon Investigator. His surgical practice focuses on upper extremity reconstruction and trauma with a special interest in arthroscopic treatment of shoulder, elbow and wrist pathology and open reconstructive procedures such as tendon transfers and shoulder/elbow replacements.

Dr. Jesse Wolfstadt received his MD from the University of Toronto in 2011, completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at U of T in 2016, and graduated in 2017 with a Master’s Degree in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at the Institute for Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation (IHPME). He completed fellowships in complex adult lower extremity reconstruction (Mount Sinai Hospital), traumatology and arthroplasty (St. Michael’s Hospital), and traumatology (Auckland City Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand). His clinical focus is on complex primary and revision total knee replacement and primary total hip replacement, as well as trauma surgery and outpatient total joint replacement. He is currently a Staff Arthroplasty surgeon at Mount Sinai Hospital and is serving as the Director for Undergraduate Education for the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Michael Zywiel is a staff orthopaedic surgeon at the Toronto Western Hospital, University Health Network, Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Toronto, and Clinician Investigator at the Schroeder Arthritis Institute, University Health Network. His clinical practice focuses on hip and knee pain, and his surgical practice is in hip and knee reconstruction, including primary and revision surgery of both degenerative and traumatic hip conditions.
