Introducing COSMEC: The Canadian Orthopaedic Surgery Medical Education Course
With limited exposure to Orthopaedics in core medical school curricula, COSMEC is designed to offer an immersive glimpse into the world of Orthopaedics through live virtual seminars. COSMEC is an exciting new course designed for medical students interested in Orthopaedic Surgery – or those interested in any specialty, wishing to review high-yield musculoskeletal knowledge for clinical rotations and the MCCQE.
The course launches on February 1, 2022 at 19:00 with the Foundations session.
In attending COSMEC, you will be taught by distinguished faculty and residents at the University of Toronto’s Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, will receive a newly released “Orthopaedic Surgery Handbook for Medical Students“, and will have the opportunity to win prizes! Local participants will also attend an Orthopaedic Skills Workshop to gain hands-on exposure at the Mount Sinai Hospital Surgical Skills Center.
Register at www.cosmec.ca by January 31, 2022 to reserve your spot. Registration is free of charge.
