Women of the World Gala with Dr. Borna Meisami Commemorative Foundation
On behalf of Peter Ferguson, Chair Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Toronto
Celebrate International Women’s Day with Us on March 5, 2020 at Aga Khan Museum and Help Women Rebuild Their Lives After Domestic Violence
Join us for the WOMEN OF THE WORLD GALA, as we celebrate Restoring Smiles’ 10th anniversary with an exquisite event that celebrates our mission and the diversity and strength of our practitioners and patients. The driving purpose of this event is to raise funds needed to continue our work in GTA and grow across Ontario. To date, we have provided nearly one million dollarsof free dental and orofacial reconstructive services to over 100 women who have survived domestic violence.
To mark this milestone anniversary, we’re extending a warm welcome to the greater dental and medical community to join us on Thursday, March 5th, 2020 – Witness the impact of our work through a short documentary screening and panel discussion. We will honour and celebrate the diversity of the women who make up the foundation through culturally-inspired decor, food, and live performances, including the talented Amanda Martinez. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate Dr. Borna Meisami Commemorative Foundation’s first decade and play a critical role in our future growth.
